For the 2024-2025 school year, Shoreline School District will participate in three different meal programs.
Here's how to know if you should submit a meal application:
Schools: Briarcrest, Echo Lake, Meridian Park, Parkwood Elementary Schools
Program: House Bill 1238
What this means: Free meals for all students for the 2024-25 school year.
What families need to do: If household income meets federal guidelines, they should submit a meal application.
School: Ridgecrest Elementary School
Program: Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
What this means: Free meals for all students for the 2024-25 school year.
What families need to do: All Ridgecrest families, regardless of income, submit a meal application.
Schools: All Other K-12 Schools
Program: National School Lunch Program
What this means: Regular breakfast and lunch prices apply.
What families need to do: If household income meets federal guidelines, they should submit a meal application.
Our Schools Need Your Help to Qualify for Free Meals Next Year!
Near the beginning of each school year, we send our meal application data to the state for qualification for free meals for the following year.
If you qualify (or aren’t sure if you do), please complete and submit a meal application right away.
