Cell Phone Survey: We Want to Hear from You!

At the beginning of the current school year, the school district and Shoreline Education Association (SEA) negotiated an agreement to implement and study an “Off and Away” expectation for student cell phones and personal electronic devices for this school year.

Now that the “Off and Away” expectation has been in place throughout the fall and winter, we are launching a community-wide survey seeking feedback on how it’s gone at schools and to better inform the district in implementing the expectation moving forward.

Take the “Cell Phones: Off and Away” Survey

We have received some feedback that respondents would appreciate the opportunity to provide comments in addition to answering the survey questions. If you would like, you may provide comments here:

  • Students in Grades 6-12

  • Parents/Guardians will be asked to complete the survey based on the experiences of their oldest child currently attending a Shoreline school.

  • Staff: (Staff who are also parents/guardians in the district will be able to take the survey from both perspectives.)
